Cornelia showed her passion for needlecraft as a young age of 10. She spent many holidays up in northern Germany with her Grandmother who loved to teach her how to knit and crochet.
This hobby continued but also expanded by learning dressmaking by watching her husband’s grandmother creating lovely garments for the Royal Household, friends and family.
Wanting to expand her passion in working with fabric, Cornelia decided to enrol in a course for Soft Furnishings. Many blinds, curtains and pillows were created. It did not stop there and she continue her knowledge by completed several upholstery classes.
Cornelia has completed a City & Guild course in Upholstery & Furnishings with distinction, to widen her knowledge into the craft of upholstery.
Having had over 10 years of experience, Cornelia is the proud owner of The Cornelia Collections, working out of her workshop at home.
