Cornelia showed her passion for needlecraft as a young age of 12. She spent many holidays up in northern Germany with her Grandmother who loved to teach her how to knit and crochet.
This hobby continued but also expanded by learning dressmaking by watching her husband’s grandmother creating lovely garments for the Royal Household, friends and family.
Wanting to expand her passion in working with fabric, Cornelia decided to enrol in a course for Soft Furnishings. Many blinds, curtains and pillows were created. It did not stop there and she continue her knowledge by completed several upholstery classes.
Currently Cornelia is completing a City & Guild course in Upholstery and Furnishings to gain more background knowledge into the craft of upholstery.
Having had many years of experience Cornelia is now the proud owner of a beautiful workshop in a converted barn near Sopley in Dorset.
